Overview: In Module Two, you articulated your personal or professional ambitions in a specific goal statement. Being able to communicate your goal to others is important. When others understand what you are trying to accomplish and why, they are more likely to support your efforts. Completing the Bachelor of Arts in General Studies degree program is only one important element of accomplishing your goal. Helping others understand why the BA.GS degree is a strategic choice will assist you in finding a job or realizing your personal ambitions. For this milestone assignment, you will submit a more succinct version of your SMART goal and strategy.

Prompt: Introduce the career goals and personal goals that are related to achieving your BA.GS degree. Write as if you were speaking to a professional audience.

Use the feedback you received from the Online Writing Center on your SMART Goal and Strategy worksheet to write a paper that includes the following critical elements:

- An introductory description of your specific goal that uses language appropriate for a professional audience
- A description of the strategy you will use to accomplish your specific goal:

o How you will measure successful completion of the goal
o Identification of actions or resources needed to attain the goal
o The relevance of the goal
o A time frame for achieving the goal.
