Marketing effectiveness measurement

Current issues/topics report - you are asked to find at least two, three or more reference articles dealing with any topics covered in this course and write a brief report based on those references, using the format below. You can check out popular business publications (see a list of suggested business periodicals at the end of this syllabus) or online library databases (see note at the end of the listed periodicals) to find relevant articles. Make sure you have articles that are recent (dated later than January 1, 2013). You may choose to focus on either a general marketing topic (see a list of sample topics at the end of the syllabus) or a specific case study (e.g., a company's promotion campaign) to satisfy the requirement of this assignment.

Your report should include the following elements (use these headings in your
report):

• Topic

• Introduction (Identify the topic/current event; specify course topic(s) that apply; briefly summarize the article/source you read.)

• Analysis (Connect at least 2-3 major concepts from the course/textbook to what you read. Indicate questions you have, if any, regarding the topic or area after reading each article.)

• Lessons learned (Explain at least 2-3 important lessons you have learned from reading and analyzing the article.)

• Conclusion

• References (Provide a website link to each article, if possible, so that interested classmates may access the material.)

• The due dates for the reports to be both posted on the site

• Discussion board and dropped in my digital drop box are posted below in the grading area. In addition you have to post four comments (again dates are posted below) about the topics of your choice. See "current issues/topics report schedule" at the end of the syllabus to learn when you need to post reports or comments on site.
