Guidelines for Case Study Analysis
1. Introduction: (300 words)
Should include the following
- Definition of Change Management with proper citation. Brief discussion
- Background of the case (Give important data and key information, identify the needs, problems or concerns in the case that needs to be addressed. and trace the root cause of it.
- Objectives of the case under investigation ( refer to the tasks required for the case assignment)
II. Analysis: ( 1550 words)
Should include the following.
a. Critical analysis and evaluation on:
- The type of change that was initiated by the CEO of Australian Coal Mine
- Theory of change and leadership that can be adopted to drive success in the change situation.
b. Critical explanation and analysis on the miners' general views that initiated change as to:
- Threat to their occupational community.
- Varied forces of implications for change resistance.
c. Preparation of Communication Plan for continuous change management presented in a tabular form with textual explanation.
Conclusion: (150 words)
Could include the following:
- Summary of the major highlights or points of the case
- The learning received in relation to the objective of case analysis
