Digital Media Team Presentation

Your team project will involve a digital media presentation.

Objectives of the project: Work more efficiently in a team, practice good writing skills, collect reliable information through interviews, use persuasive writing and speaking techniques, use technology efficiently and effectively to communicate with external constituents, write collaboratively, practice good design techniques for documents, practice good presentation techniques, provide effective written and oral feedback, conduct efficiently run meetings, use techniques for completing work by deadlines.

All team members will contribute to the preparation/research and to the presentation.

Team communication & Technology

Teams are encouraged to use e-mail, discussion threads, and collaborative - online rooms on D2L as a method of communication to schedule meetings and exchange information. At your first meeting, exchange schedules, e-mail addresses and phone numbers.

Technology

Collaborative/Elluminate (online D2L rooms) training will take place during class. Each team is responsible for setting timelines for completion and staying on task to complete the project.

Team Presentations

Your team will prepare a digital, social, and visual media presentation that will reflect your team's ability to put together an informative presentation regarding digital media that is useful in the workplace. Your team may determine your audience when giving the presentation. All team members will participate in presenting the project. Class members will also evaluate team presentations.

Use your textbooks for additional ideas to narrow your presentation topic. Presentations will be 10-15 minutes in length.

Topics and focus need to be approved by your instructor.
