Make a plan to convince a media corporation to change its advertising initiatives by using relevant theoretical models which describe the causes of eating disturbances as a foundation for a proposed media change.

a) Eating Disturbances: Give an overview of the main features of each eating disturbance (anorexia, bulimia, obesity, and overeating and body dysmorphia).

b) Theoretical Models: describe in detail the two main theoretical models which describe the causes of eating disturbances.

c) Analysis of Current Media Initiatives: Give a detailed analysis of the present media initiatives which exist in our society which could affect the occurrence of eating disturbances. describe specific television, movie, magazine, music, Internet and any other media illustrations which give evidence of negative images or information which may contribute to eating disturbances. Select three different media outlets for this section and describe them separately (television, movies, Internet, magazines and so forth).

Change Campaign: Based on knowledge of eating disturbances, the theoretical models which underlie their occurrence, and the media analysis, make a detailed proposal which describes how your three chosen media outlets can change their present marketing initiatives. In your explanation, be sure to detail why these outlets must change, how they should change, and what new initiatives might look like. Give specific illustrations of what kinds of changes require to be made to present media initiatives.
