Your proposal is supposed to accomplish the following:
1. State clearly your topic, its importance/significance, the rational or motivation behind selecting it for research,
2. Specify the problem or the opportunity that it poses as a topic
3. Cover some of the main issues addressed by other researchers on your topic to demonstrate the relevance of it and its key implications for practice.
4. Specify whether you are going to use any cases of companies, managers or if you are planning to conduct a survey
5. The last part of the proposal is supposed to provide the structure (outline) of your paper (what you will exactly talk about and the main sections to cover). The proposal has to end with a list of references that you have used to write your proposal as well as a table as an appendix stating who will write which section in the paper.
