literature review papers in relation with our subject matter, that is, the topic should be within the area of criminal (administration of) justice or criminology. This exercise will help the student not only to understand the process of conducting a literature review as it is always done in a scholarly paper (i.e., a survey and/or synthesis of previous writings and findings), but also to get acquainted to scholarly writing, paraphrasing and referencing.

There should be no more than three type-written double-space pages, not including the reference page(s). Special assignments may include downloading data from various criminal justice/criminology/administration of justice sources to describe or analyze.
