Literature Review Assignment -

Write a literature review assignment based on my chosen research topic which is: Equality And Diversity. This Topic is about equality for people with disabilities.

This is the assignment, a part of the capstone project. The topic chosen to discuss is equality and diversity, the forwarded email below contain a guideline file by the instructor and few other files.

Your second assignment is to conduct a literature search on the topic you have chosen and write a literature review. The review should be between 5 to 6 pages long and double spaced.

The guidelines for literature review

1. You should gather your information from multiple research based sources (For our purpose at least 6 of your sources should be a peer-reviewed journal article.)

2. Your writing should be well organized and demonstrate logical sequencing and structure.

3. You should clearly state the detailed conclusions you reach from the articles you read.

4. You should clearly state your research questions and how these research questions are related to the detailed conclusions you reach from reading the literature.

5. Your literature review should include the following sections:

a. Introduction: You should briefly introduce the topic and discuss why it is important. You should also briefly write about the main purposes/objectives of the paper.

b. Multiple sections summarizing the main points: It is a good idea to split your paper up into different sections (with subtitles) that break the paper up for the reader. For a 5 page paper, you may want to think about having anywhere from 2-4 sections in addition to the introduction and conclusion. The number of sections depends entirely on your research topic and what you are going to include in the paper.

c. Conclusions and the current research: In this part, you should summarize the overall findings and make conclusions in your own words. Then you need to address how the conclusions you reached are related to your research questions. For example, if one of your conclusions is that there is a research gap in the area, you need to address how your research will provide additional information to fill the gap.

d. Literature cited: You need to provide the list of the sources you cite in your paper. Your list should be in alphabetical order by author. Use APA style formatting and citing guidelines.
