You will develop a leadership development plan for your career development as a leader in health services administration or in another related field. Like a business plan, it should express your desired goals (both short and long term), your objectives, and the resources you need to be successful in achieving your career goals.

Your career plan paper should be 3 pages in length in addition to a title page and a reference page, according to APA Guidelines.

PART I: Career Goals

Action plan: What is my overall action plan (step-by step) to be in future healthcare leader?

PART II: Developmental Needs

Volunteerism: What volunteer opportunities have I participated in that have helped develop me as a professional? ( I was an Army Non-Commissioned Officer) What can I seek out in the future to help me?

Professional Associations/Organizations, and Memberships: Do I currently or have I in the past belonged to any? (National pharmacy technician association (NPTA), PTCB certifed pharmacy techniciation, USA Wrestling (Copper certified coach), Illishiem, Germany jujitsu Federation of Instructors) What can I join in the future that can assist in my developing my needs?

What other resources such as trainings, certifications, social networking can I take advantage of to help develop me professionally?
