I've taken Imitrex for my migraines in the past and it isn't the most effective but is cheap, so I had to go back to it when my insurance wouldn't cover my Relpax anymore. I've been back on it as needed for a couple of months now, needing one on average once a week. I've not experienced any major side effects so far until today. Today I got light-headed and dizzy, thought I was going to pass out, was really flushed and warm all over, started to sweat, and felt tingling and pin pricks all over my face and head. Then my right ear started itching inside severely and the left followed, though not as severely. I know that all of these symptoms, including itching, can be side effects of Imitrex and I've experienced them in milder degrees in the past but the inside the ear thing was a bit bizarre. Has anyone ever experienced itching inside their ears after taking Imitrex?
