I've been using nuvaring for about 6 months or so and I have always put it in and taken out on Sundays. Last week I took it out on Friday because I wanted it to be lined up so I wouldn't have my period the upcoming Saturday. After taking it out on Friday, I had unprotected sex on Sunday but got my period the next day which was the expected time and lasted the normal duration when I use the ring. I put a new one in on the next Friday but was I protected for those few days it was out early? And is there I chance I could be pregnant even though I already got my period because I know that is possible.
