I've been on avelox before, and was on it to treat an ulcer, but started to have some pain w/out a reason in my Achilles (and then switched to different antibiotics to be safe). So: out of curiousity, I just thought I'd ask if anyone knew the how and why avelox has this side effect

I was wondering if anyone knows WHY avelox and other drugs like it cause tendinitis/tendon rupture?
