It is hard to do it the right way because of the temptation of quick money. We as people are so focused on what is in front of us that we neglect the future. We focus on the short term and not the long term. Doing what's right will not get you a lot of money starting out, but when companies push through and continue to do what's right. They will make the money in the long run. Unethical companies, however, are fall into that temptation. They do things unethically, trick their clients, etc. and that causes them to get the large amounts of money immediately. However, they lose customers and they end up making less money than those companies that did the right thing to begin with. Companies need to look at the big picture and the importance of being ethical. We as people need to learn the lesson of being ethical as well. Integrity is simply doing what is right even when no one is looking. We as people need to have integrity and do what is right no matter what and eventually we will reap what we sow or we will have the good karma (or whatever else you believe).
