Is there reason for concern about the firmness (very firm) of mastectomy area? Wife had mastectomy over four years ago. Has kept all dr. appts since then. Dr. always gives her a good report. She has had no pain etc. Today she went to a new primary care dr who expressed some concern/surprise re the firmness of the area. Is there reason for concern.
