Interview and Evaluation of Current Policies

Note: Though it is recommended to conduct an in-person interview, you can conduct the interview by e-mail or telephone, if that is convenient to the interviewee.

For this assignment:

Conduct an interview with a manager in your workplace, or one with which you are familiar (if you are not currently employed), to determine their diversity inclusion policies and strategies for its employees.
Write a few paragraphs that describes its inclusion policies and strategies and relate your interview findings to your chosen diverse employee group.

Present and discuss gaps you find.

Develop your questions for the interview with the manager based on the course readings.

Be sure that your paper follows APA sixth edition style and formatting guidelines.

Section 1 - Interview and Evaluation of Current Policies and Workplace Inclusion Conditions: Conduct an interview with a manager or human resource representative in your workplace, or one with which you are familiar, to determine the organization's current policies on diversity as it relates to your chosen issue. Exact questions for the interview with the manager or representative should be based on the course readings. Open format questions work best. Describe and summarize what you found.

Research and Analysis

For this assignment:

Research the diverse employee group that you have chosen for your final project.

Write a literature review to analyze current professional and scholarly literature related to diversity matters related to the chosen group.

Evaluate the workplace inclusion theories and best practices that you find in the literature for a diverse workplace that pertains to your group, at the completion of youranalysis. Write a few paragraphs that examine your findings.

Write a summary paragraph that illustrates your logical conclusions with regard to current workplace inclusion best practices.
