Instructions

For this project, you will prepare a presentation to incoming students to help them connect the course content to your chosen program of study.

Your presentation should include the following:

1. Identify your program of study along with the types of jobs you may encounter in that area.

2. Provide information on at least three topics from this course.  For each topic:

Briefly explain the important concepts presented about the topic and how they apply to people in general.  You may want to find additional information at http://www.apa.org/topics/index.aspx

Show how this topic is applicable to your program of study

Provide your audience with any tools they can use to help them better understand the topic and how it may apply to their future careers

1. Complete your presentation by explaining why the study of psychology is important in this program of study.  In other words, what skills did you learn in this course that will be useful when dealing with co-workers, clients, or even your own strengths/weaknesses in your future career?
