Task 3 - NOTE. From this point forward in this assessment you are to work in groups of three (3). You will provide 1 video per individual.
Case Study: You have been approached by a tourism and travel company, HereWeGo Travels. They have approached you because they liked your earlier work. They need you to create a 3-5 minute video on Australia. In particular, this video will be shown to travelers wanting to visit Australia. They want you to interview some world travelers that have come to Australia.
Requirements -
You need to decide who the interviewer, traveler and camera operator will be.
You are to formulate 5 open ended questions. Will be used for subtitles
You are to approach your travelers (the other people in your group) and get them to sign talent release forms. You will require these forms and you will need to include them as part of your production package.
You are to develop a storyboard and present it to the customer for approval.
You are free to gather what resources you need:
- Text - Concerning Australia
- Quality Images of Australia and other images that assist in the production
- You are to ask each other your 5 open ended questions and capture it on your phone or any other appropriate devices.
- Popular Australian Music
You are to create your own production notes and a brief as to how you will produce your movie. Then present them to your customer for your approval.
You will provide an EDL.
Task 4 - Download your source files and edit your files.
Create your movie/clip be creative, you will present the final video in 29.97 fps, 480p quality and .mp4 so that it could be used in YouTube or Vimeo.
You are to use a plethora of transitions and cuts.
NOTE: Since you are dealing directly with your talented people. The responses that you receive from your actors will require editing.
Task 5 - Final requirements
Provide an attachment of your release forms.
Provide the storyboard, production notes and brief document.
Provide the source files and final video product.
Compress all these files into a singular .zip file.
Rename your compressed .zip file to ICTDMT501_YourName.zip.
Upload it to the learning management system (LMS).
