After reviewing the text readings, complete the following week's assignment:

Conduct an Internet search for a news article that describes an example of a group conflict requiring resolution, or a past conflict which was successfully resolved. Some types of municipal conflicts are common; for example, you might search for a union dispute or labor strike such as the 1970 U.S. Postal Workers strike, the 2009 City of Toronto strike, or the 1981 Air Traffic Controllers strike. Or, you might search for a local issue which involves multiple conflicting parties, such as the building of a landfill, quarry, or power plant.

Briefly describe the article and scenario, as well as how the conflict was resolved (or if it has yet to be resolved.

What methods did the different parties use to resolve the conflict? Were there other methods they might have used? If the conflict has not been resolved, provide suggestions that might result in a win-win scenario.
