In this AGL project we are working as an external consultant for AGL to make a change, we are trying to sell our ideas of changing which is making AGL to use renewable energy only in Victoria.

- In this stage I have to do

- Cost and Benefits analysis.

Cost and Benefits analysis:

- BY MAKING ASSUMPTIONS

Calculate how cost a sonar panel

How many years is needed to refund the investment (roi)

How many market share we will earn? (in %, calculate the % of customer in the potential market)

How long it takes to build a wind turbine + how much turbine we want to implement?

Eg:25% of the salary for training people

http://www.abs.gov.au/ausstats/abs@.nsf/featurearticlesbytitle/2D45C9245EB83097CA256DEA000539FC?OpenDocument

So BY MAKING ASSUMPTIONS calculate the cost of each of the above and any other important point that you may have, and then what are the benefits. It has to have benefits for us to sell the idea of change as an external consultant to AGL.

In this part I need you to make diagrams or tables or charts ect which show the costs of each point (you can do it any way you like as long as it has clear details), or you can do more than one. This is to be used for both Report and Presentation.

Try to be general we don't want to be too detailed.

There is no words limit.
The referencing is Harvard style.

please have a look at the document for the cost and benefits, you can use some of the information in it via this link:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1562XrN72qZGoWor2r6YPrbHJtbXcF1Nib4-H7qhBShg

Also this is what the group sent today, it might be useful as well:

(Okay so I'm going to suggest we narrow the scope of the project further because.

This is AGL's current Sustainable energy production sources:

AGL VICTORIA SUSTAINABLE ENERGY
Dartmouth Hydroelectric Power Station (180 megawatts)
Eildon Hydroelectric Power Station (120 megawatts)
Kiewa Hydroelectric Scheme (391 megawatts)
Macarthur Wind Farm (140 turbines) (420 megawatts)
Oaklands Wind Farm (63 megawatts)

= 1,174 megawatts = approx 614,952.35 households (0.001909090909091 per household)

Victoria has 2.2 million households. Therefore to meet residential energy needs we would need to reach approx 4,200 megawatts.
1 turbine = 3 megawatts which means we would need approx 1,400 more turbines.

But households only account for 21% of Victoria's energy use so essentially these numbers are inaccurate having not considered business energy usage and for the fact that we have not considered that AGL do not supply energy for all of Victoria.

Soooo, it is clear that the scope is a little out of control. Therefore I suggest that we not only narrow it to Victoria but also residential households in which AGL supplies .... which I can't find -.-

They supply 2.3 million electricity customers Aus wide but this number will obviously be a lot less if we can actually find it.
