In a 1-2 page (double-spaced) hypothetical paper, propose a solution for ending the violence in Syria. The nation is on the verge of civil war and in the midst of an unprecedented humanitarian crisis. The Assad regime has denied neighboring governments from entering, but would be willing to grant entry to one designated IGO and one designated NGO.  Think carefully, and consult pages 61-64 in your text before making your selections and explaining why.  Your NGO must be what it says; a non-governmental organization dedicated to providing humanitarian relief without threatening the stability of the Assad government. The IGO, intergovernmental organization you choose must be able to separate the warring factions, assist the NGO in providing humanitarian relief and if necessary be able to defend itself. It, too must not in any way be seen as trying to undermine or topple the Assad government.
