Impact of Job Satisfaction on Job Performance in Bank Muscat

Employee approaches are significant to organization since they define the performance of workforces in the business. The frequently said belief is that a pleased employee is a creative employee. A fulfilled employee will produce a satisfying environment in the company toward execute healthy. Therefore work fulfillment has developed a main theme for investigation studies.

Objective

This study is to examine the impact of job satisfaction on performance in Bank Muscat.

Literature Review

Luthans (1985)cited that an agreeable or optimistic sensitive state subsequent from the assessment of one's work or job knowledge. Job gratification is a consequence of workers' insight of how healthy their job delivers those stuffs which are watched as significant. Job gratification is similarly well-defined as rehabilitation of touch shaped by person's insight of success of his desires in relative to his effort and the nearby it.

Kornhanuser & Sharp (1976) demonstrated in the industrial sector on the topic of job satisfaction and work performance showed a positive relationship existed. The benefits of job satisfaction are not universal. Turnover and quality of production were shown to be unaffected by job satisfaction or lack of it.

Cummings (1970) related job satisfaction to performance by saying gratification reasons act; presentation sources fulfilment and rewards reason both act and fulfilment. Subsequent work in the field has supported this viewpoint. In other meaning cumminge concluded that satisfaction affects performance along with effort, commitment and intention. Showed a striking increase in employee productivity related to an increase in job satisfaction.

Mirvis and Lawer (1977) their findings conclusively supported the above views of the association amid job fulfilment and output. The example chosen by them to investigate was that of bank tellers and the effect on their ability to avoid cash shortages, and the effects on staff turnover in this occupation. Results showed satisfied staff performed better in the job and were less likely to quit.

Organ and Hammer (1991) explained that work approval signifies a multifaceted collection of understanding, feeling and trends. besides mentioned that job fulfilment is a rehabilitation of the touch formed via an individual's insight of fulfilment of his wants in relative to his effort and the circumstances close it a further meaning is that a agreeable or optimistic expressive formal subsequent from the assessment of one's work or job knowledge .

Research Philosophy, Approach and Strategy

There are two major research philosophies utilized in this research to achieve the projected objective, they are positivism and phenomenology. As well, in demand to define the research view the researcher used the both of the methods (positivism and phenomenology).Adding to, the philosophical approach was supposed more than the positivism because of the small sample used for the analysis of this topic. Furthermore, the building theory will be implied for this study, which is titled inductive method since inductive ordinary approach is recognized as constructive theory. 

As quantitative approaches are essential and central for any study, the researcher organized questionnaire as an approach of this paper; in order to discover the opposing opinions and beliefs on the facts, they choice to use and use of quantitative methods to collect consequences and suggestion.

The researcher may follow certain strategy to collect views; the strategy researcher used is that survey strategy to obtain the data the questionnaire consists of 5 questions, divided into two parts, distributed to 10 samples. Later it will be distributed randomly for the respondent from both sex and with different ages where that, the research request & oblige to collecting a dissimilar views and opinions from various perception.

The aim of this study is to discover out the impact of job fulfillment on business act. In other meaning the researcher desires to meet altered ideas of opinions, views and thoughts in demand to assisting in reach the desired objective.

According to what be drawn from the data collected, the researcher will formulate the analysis part and then the results, and conclusion by compared it with the different concepts of the authors in the literature review and after that draw whether it proven the research objective or not .

The section lecturer has agreed the topic before selecting any research. As the theme is not a susceptible from ethnic point of view ,communa , religious & political there are not greatly moral suggestions of this study. The opinions of the participant's dose not offended any sets emotion or neither attention nor the questions are aggressive or dangerous for the participant's. participant's do not need to reveal their name or any individual facts which may be distorted by dishonest elements. Altogether this study has been found out with the authorization of the section lecturer and the participant's .Similarly no profit of the government and individuals.
