Imagine you're the CEO of a mid-sized company. You want to grow the business and to do that you think you should expand internationally. How do you know when it's the right time to enter foreign markets and compete internationally? What challenges will your company face? And, ultimately, how can your companies succeed?  Maybe search for or think of some examples of U.S. companies that have succeeded or failed to enter foreign markets. Or it might be fun to think of examples from the other perspective. Can anyone think of examples where foreign companies have tried to access the U.S. market? Both examples where companies succeed and where they failed are instructive.
