Imagine you are opening a business in Jamaica. The business is going to be--- the already established 5 star resort Waldorf Astoria. Basically I am to convince the CEO of the company why we should open a resort in Jamaica.

Describe types of exit strategies would be most appropriate for your global venture in order to mitigate risk. Some strategies to consider include divestiture of assets, handing over to a joint venture partner, diversification, shutting down operation, and contingencies for your global venture.

This would be regarding if the business plan did not work out- but I have to keep in mind that I am still trying to convince the CEO that we want to open the business in Jamaica so I have to explain why the exit strategy that I choose will be not such a huge loss to the company. Personally I have considered a joint venture or franchise may be the option with the least loss to the company.
