I would define interpersonal communication as not only as how we interacting with others, but also how we treat others we are communicating with. Every time that we talk to another person; we are engaging in a conversation and that is a part communication. To have interpersonal communication people are talking on a more personal level about a subject that is more intimate than just two people having a conversation. I do not believe that it is possible for someone to truly be engaging in interpersonal communication if he or she is immoral and has self- serving motives. They can communicate about something that is on a personal level, but they are more than likely doing it to obtain personal information from another person to be used to benefit them. Interpersonal communication takes place when the people having the conversation are not self-centered and truly care about how they treat and listen to others.
