I went to the endocrinologist and they took a lot of blood thinking I might have either a hormone problem or insulin problems or PCOS. I went on got my other perscription and they also gave me Metformin and my doctor didnt call to tell us what was wrong or why I have to take it or even that he was filling a prescription. I heard its good for weight loss which I was going to see another endocrinologist about for weight loss pills.Is it bad for a teenager (17) to be on Metformin?
