I was just diagnosed with Vitreomacular adhesion. I am nervous about waiting. What should I be on the lookout for, and is there anything I can do besides watch and wait?

The initial thing i noticed was a blurry small circle smack dab in the middle of my left eye's visual field. AFter one week it seems to be getting more wavy. Should I call my retina specialist tomorrow or just wait 2 more weeks as I was advised to do?
