I was diagnosed with ET and started taking Anagrelide 0.5mg 4 times per day. Igained 10 lbs. in less than a month with huge ankle swelling after walking and standing. My nausea yesterday turned into extreme stomache pain so I would guess this is becoming an ulcerated stomach lining. I stopped the drug yeaterday and will call my Hematologist Monday. Based on my research HydroxyUrea would be the next drug. I am wondering if people who took Anagrelide with problems made a successful switch to Hydroxyurea?
