I want to increase my Zoloft but don't think my psychiatrist will let me due to potential to set off will let me due to potential to set off bipolar mania. He is concerned about having me on an ssri. I haven't felt much of an effect from 75 mg Zoloft (no mania whatsoever) and I want him to increase it. I think it highly unlikely that he will do so. Should I find another psychiatrist or other type of doc that will allow me to get a higher dosage? What are my options - I can't handle abilify. I take the Zoloft for social anxiety and depression. In addition to the Zoloft I take 2000 mg depakote, 200mg lamotragine and 1mg klonopin.
