I used the monistat 1 cream and most people said to wait 3 days to have intercourse. I waited a full 3 days but when my partner and I had intercourse, we noticed that there was white discharge on both of our genitals from the ovule still being up there. I thought it would have dissolved by then. Did I lessen the effectiveness? Should I do the treatment again? My yeast infection was very mild to begin with so I have noticed improvements but I still feel an occasional very mild itch and very slight burning when urinating and during our intercourse.
