I recently had a PH study done for acid reflux. a probe was placed in the espohagus via the nose for 24 hours. I was on no heartburn meds at the time and as soon as the probe was in place (30 cm) I was heartburn free for the 24 hour period of the test. did anyone experience this? if so do you know why this would occur? I am wanting to know why this would happen, it seemed strange.
