I need some help coming up with a cohesive (a detailed) outline about the epidemic of pediatric obesity. I need to come up with about 7 all-ecompassing topics. I am writing about a lot, but I'm having trouble putting it into a concise outline.
Here is a description of what I am working on:
This directed study will address the special considerations of obesity in children and adolescents, including etiology, medical complications, treatment, the media's involvement, and research into improved prevention and treatment. Who is responsible for good nutrition? What are the physician's and parent's respective roles in the success of the maintenance of healthy children? What is the ethical marrow in regards to the physician's role in society to look out for the greater good of our children and society? Who is to blame for the obesity epidemic in our children? I will also address the "toxic food environment" in which kids and families must function. Parents, even if they wanted to, don't have control over what their kid see, hear, and are faced with as they go to school, sit in the classroom, play sports, and sit at home.
