I lost one of my active pills last month so I was supposed to start the active pills for this month a day early so that I was still only off the active pills for seven days. I forgot and started the active pills on Sunday, as usual, which means I went eight days without active pills rather than seven. Yesterday I had unprotected sex (the eight day without active pills.). Should I go get a morning after pill to be safe? What risk am I in and what precautions should I take for the rest of this month?
