I have to smash the Imdur tablet and mix it with water in order to pass it thru an 18 gauge gastro tube for my husband. The pill does not break up well nor does it dissolve well and the pieces swell in water causing an obstruction in the tube which is very difficult to clear. Any ideas of to dissolve it better? Does Imdur come in liquid form?
