I have had headaches for a few years,cleared up but have since come back.They start off with a tightening pain and a mild/bad ache across bridge of nose and forehead that makes it hard to focus on anything else,and makes me fed up,Ihad a sinus xray a few years ago has this was in a similar area and was clear. I took amitryptyline and it cleared up,so after a week i stopped taking it,headaches have returned off and on,I dont like taking medication when i havent got pain,am waiting for appointment to general medicine headache clinic,but long wait.any advice?

can you take amyltryptyline one off for tenson headache?
