I have been taking pantoprazole for over 1 year started on 20mg 1 a day,but doctor increased dose to 40mg 2 tablets in the morning,i would like to stop these pills for good but don't seem to be able to without getting chest pain and rebound acid. Is it safe to change from 20mg pantoprazole to 40mg pantoprazole?
