I have been prescribed Utrogestan 200mg vaginal but worry that dose is too high for HRT, as it's meant for use with IVF that way. I'm concerned about taking it orally as I have high blood pressure and other health issues. My doctor is very helpful as she will prescribe oral or vaginal for me, but there seems to be very little research for GPs to go on regarding its use off license, which is what it would be if I took it vaginally. From what I've read you need a lower dose vaginally as it by passes the liver and goes straight to where it's needed.
