I have been on prednisone for 16years for COPD and my new pulmonologist said he could get me off of It. Last time I tried I got off for 3 weeks, but the muscle, joint pain made me go back after 3 weeks. Couldn't sleep or function because of the pain. I presently take 20 mg a day. Anyone got any ideas ... I really do hate taking it.
