I had my nuvaring in until maybe the beginning or middle of week 3 then took it out to have sex, but forgot to put it back in because i got into a large fight with a roomate and just left for work. after 8 hours i came home realizing i hadn't put it in when it was still on my nightstand so i read my pamphlet but apparently read it wrong. i put a new one in thinking i should just continue with my normal schedule then took it out last thursday per my usual schedule. it is now monday and i still don't have my period and i don't know if i should leave it out until i get it, or put a new one in on thursday as usual. please help. i told my boyfriend no more sex until i figure out what to do. i really don't want to get pregnant.
