I had been taking 40 mg lexapro for six years .I started on 10 mg but felt sleepy all the time so gradally had it increased over the years .The reason I was taking it was for mood swings and just being grumpy all the time the gradual increase improve my behaviour to the point at Christmas 2013 I decided time to reduce my dosage so bit by bit 5mg at a time I have been reducing at each stage I have had sweats, headaches , dizziness, slight mood swings, diarrhoea, sleeplessness. I have finally got down to zero and off them now for a week this has be en the worst with all symptoms amplified I hope I can get through the next couple of weeks and get better for good. If I had a choice now I would have looked for an alternative .
