I had alithotripsy today and I have to strain all of my urine to catch stone fragments for the doctor to check what kind of stones I have so they can adjust my diet. I was wondering after finding any stones I have to put them in a container to take to the dr. Does anyone know if I should wash the stones before I put them in the container It seems unsanitary not to.
