I had a TBI surgery in December of 2014. All good until end of April, when I had my first grand mal seizure. Put on Keppra xr1500, which was ok the first 3 weeks but then I started getting strange behavioral issues. So, doc put me on lamictal xr, starting 25mg every week, titering up to 100mg. Second seizure hit 2 months later, and now I am at a point where I feel depressed and anxious, worried about that I will have horrible side effects at 200mg, which is now the new therapeutic goal. Does anyone have experience of how it effected them at this dose? I will be staying on Keppra 500mg XR until I have reached the 200mg level of Lamictal. Then we will taper it down. Just wanted to know how it has worked for everyone.
