I had a bad tooth and went to the dentist. The dentist said he wanted to try a temporary filling instead of going straight for the root canal. Its been months with no issue but I started feeling a bit of tenderness yesterday, then today, it felt above the tooth in my the area connecting to my cheek, was sore and tender. Now at bed time I think it is slightly swollen.. Pain is better but I've been alternating Tylenol and Advil and using ice...

I guess I'm just looking for someone to say this is common so I can go to sleep & stop worrying.

Should I be panicking about my cheek swelling?
