I don't have cystic pimples and had just gone in for a mole removal. I am past menopause and my skin is actually pretty good. The dr noticed a pimple on my jaw and said do you break out occasionally and I said yes , when I work out and don't have a chance to wash my face right away I will get a zit or two. He prescribed Accutane. Pretty drastic from what I have read. Is there such a thing as a quota for these doctors? I am very suspicious. My old doc had me try topical creams for the occasional pimple. This guy knew me 7 minutes ?
