I am on the birth control Sprintec and as I have read, there are many types of birth controls that are mainly for decreasing menstrual symptoms that do not prevent pregnancy. I am considering becoming sexually active and wondering if Sprintec is effective in preventing pregnancy or if I should consult my doctor and switch my prescription?
