I am currently on 10mg of prednisolone/day and would like to change to prednisone for cost reasons. Until a week ago I thought I was allergic to prednisone, thus the methylprednisolone prescription. I have not heard back from my doctor about giving me a prescription for prednisone instead. I have polymyalgia rheumatic. What is maximum daily dosage of Nitrostat 0.4 Mg?
