I am a 35 year old woman who suffers from ocd (15 years and have tried several medications) and panic disorder and have been prescribed Escitalopram. For the last 10 years or so I have been taking Luvox 300 mg and have now slowly been decreasing the luvox while increasing the Escitalopram. I am now at the 200 mg luvox mark while take 20 mg of Escitalopram.

We went from 10, to 15 and now to 20. My concern is that every time we increase the dose I spend about 3 days suffering from extreme exhaustion (can barely get about of bed) and an increase in panic attacks. Is this normal? It is almost enough for me to give up all together- please advice, experiences anyone? I'm really worried.

I've spoken to my doctor but I'd really like to hear form others who have gone through the same or similar experience.

Is it normal to feel extreme exhaustion and increased panic attacks when upping escitalopram doses?
