I am 65 years old with two back surgeries. I have moderate to severe pain on the tops of my feet which is triggered by lifting. All tests including a milogram have shown no nerve impingement and no mechanical causes. The only two things that mitigate the pain are hydrocodone and alcohol. Of course I don't mix the two. I am also taking Neurontin which helps just a little, but doesn't make it bearable. My nerve pain appears to be caused by unexplained inflammation. I would like to get off the drugs. Has anyone had any success with homeopathic cures. I have also tried acupuncture.
