I am 30 years old. I have always had problems with constipation but it has progressively gotten worse in the last 2 years. I have to take 2-3 laxatives twice a week to make them move plus an enema to get them started most times. I realize everyone doesn't use the bathroom every day but if I don't take anything I will go a week or longer without going and then get EXTREMELY sick. I also feel very fatigued and am often nauseated. I have tried every stool softener known, tried changing up my diet etc. I also have some pains on my left side close to my ribs. I'm terrified something worse is going on. Does anyone else have problems like this? Have you been diagnosed with anything? What can my symptoms be? Anyone else have this problem?
