I agree that mind is very similar to a computer algorithm, but a computer can be reprogrammed, so why not the mind? As question two brings up the idea of implants that could allow us to exist apart from our programming, this in theory would allow us to differentiate ourselves. Then again, you could argue that after doing so would cost us our humanity making us not truly humans. Then what makes a human? Is it our programming or is it something deeper?
