3. Understand how to gain committed employee cooperation

You are working for the Human Resources Department as a Trainee Assistant Manager. You have been asked to prepare a report for your boss next month. The report should have 4 sections as detailed below (which also contains some suggested indicative content as how to demonstrate that you have met all the assessment criteria contained in the assessment grid).

3. The factors involved in human resource planning in organisations

1.1 Describe the internal and external factors to consider when planning the human resource requirements of an organisation.

1.2 Describe how the skills that employees require to curry out jobs in an organisation are identified.

2. How organisations motivate employees 2.1. Outline how an organisation motivate its employees.

3. How to gain committed employee cooperation 3.1. Explain how organisations obtain the cooperation of their employees.

4. The importance of managing employee performance at work 4.1. Explain how employee performance is measured and managed.
